Human Resources Representative

Responsible for supporting a wide variety of activities in the human resources department, including administering and explaining benefits, database management and payroll. Requires intermediate level skill with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as HRIS experience, such as ADP or Ceridian. Must have good judgement, sensitivity and creativity to respond to changing needs and situations; excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to research, evaluate and analyze new laws that affect AW. Must be an active Christian Scientist and have some HR background. This position has terrific advancement potential!

Marketing Assistant

Assists with all aspects of marketing and development for Arden Wood, such as: maintaining social media presence, providing event support, producing donor acknowledgement letters, and maintaining and generating reports from our database. Photography, videography and graphic design skills are a plus. Must be an active Christian Scientist.

Part-time Accounts Receivable Staff Accountant

Handles monthly billing, inputs data, and provides occasional Front Desk Reception back up. Must have intermediate skill in Excel, Word, and QuickBooks. Accuracy and customer service are crucial. Preference will be given to a Christian Scientist.

Front Desk Reservationist/Receptionist

This individual is one of a team responsible for operational details related to Front
Desk services. Daily tasks include phone communications, greeting visitors, making overnight reservations, sorting mail, handling cash transactions, and addressing any issue brought to the Front Desk by Arden Wood residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and callers. Computer proficiency with email, Word, Excel, Outlook, and hospitality software
(we’ll train you!) is essential.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm and gracious, detail-oriented multi-tasker, who has proven experience in discerning urgent needs, in maintaining a calm thought and strict confidentiality. Working at the Front Desk is inspiring and energizing. The demands are clear – and so are the healing benefits! Applicants must be members of The Mother Church; preferably they will be members of a branch church and Class taught.
